An upgrade is available as a refill cartridge can be purchased to add 120,000 flashes which is similar to the amount of newer models. It also plugs directly into a wall so you do not need to change any batteries or worry about the device not being properly charged.
How Does Silk’N Flash N Go Work?
Silk'n Flash and Go uses HPL (High pulsated light) to target hair follicles at the root to disable future hair growth. All hair follicles are in both the growing and resting stage. Laser hair removal works because pulsated light is absorbed by the melanin in hair or skin. Melanin gives both hair and skin its color and is responsible for absorbing the light.
This is why it is not recommended for those with darker skin as it can cause skin discoloration. Flash N go disrupts hair in the growing phase so it will take several cycles to see full results. Most people see full results within six months of treatment.
